What to see:

Aarey Milk Colony established in 1949 is one of the most modern milk colonies in the word. It is situated in Goregaon (E), a suburb of Mumbai city. It attracts visitors for its milk plants, picnic spots, gardens, nursery, and lakes. Thousand of cattle are kept here to breed and nurture. Several cattle farms on 1,287 hectares of land beautify this place. Apart from being a milk producing center, it is famous for its greenery and beautiful environment. The milk plants, nursery, Aarey Garden Restaurant, Chota Kashmir and boating rides are must to enjoy in Aarey Milk Colony. There is a pavilion on a hill near the entrance to the colony from where we can survey a pleasing landscape.

Location:
It is situated 32 kilometers from Mumbai on the main Ghodbunder Road.

How to reach:
Board a train to Goregaon Station (west). From there visitors can avail auto rickshaws. Also there are bus services from Mumbai to reach Aarey Colony.
